Summer is here! Want a great way to get some exercise but also enjoy the summer sun? Try Stand Up Paddle Boarding! Here at Woodlake, we offer many different options for stand up paddleboarding. If you are new to SUP, you will need to take a SUP Basic class. This 45 minute class teaches you everything you need to know about paddle boarding. You learn how to stand and balance on a paddle board and how to use the paddle correctly. You learn all of the basics; how to stop, change directions, so you can enjoy paddle boarding on the lake. You should wear comfortable exercise clothing that can get wet and bring a towel. Life jackets are provided. Once you have taken a SUP basic class, you are ready for anything! We also offer SUP Sunrise and SUP Sunset, so you can watch the sunrise and sunset while out on the lake. In July, we will be adding a SUP Pilates class! We also offer SUP kid’s classes for those 8 and older and who have taken the swim test and received a green band.
