Coach Ashley (Head Swim Coach)

Hi, my name is Ashley Dyer and I am so excited to be leading the Woodlake Hurricanes this year! I have been swimming for the Hurricanes since I was 8 years old, and it has made a huge impact on my life and swimming career. I swam year-round for Quest Swimming for 8 years, as well as for Clover Hill High School for 4 years. Along with experience with swim lessons and lifeguarding, I was an assistant coach for Woodlake for 3 years. Last year was my first year as head coach, and I am extremely excited to return this year.  I currently attend the University of Mary Washington, where I swim freestyle, breaststroke and individual medley events for the team. While at school, I have been assistant coaching for the RAYS, a club swim team in Fredericksburg, where I have gained more experience. I have a huge passion for the sport, and I love watching swimmers improve technique wise, as well as speed wise. I can't wait for an interesting, yet exciting summer, and to get to know each and every swimmer.

Hi! My name is Sylvie Aardema Gagnon and I am thrilled to be a Woodlake Hurricanes Coach. I have been swimming for Woodlake since I was 7 years old. I've been swimming year-round since I was 10 years old in addition to swimming for Woodlake. I do independent schooling and will be a junior this fall. I really enjoy swimming, weightlifting, and being outside. Woodlake has been a core memory of mine every summer for 9 years. It means so much to me to be able to coach! I'm looking forward to another great season!

I am a will be a junior in the fall at Monacan High School. My best stroke is freestyle, but I love racing and teaching all strokes. I am so excited to get to know the Hurricanes, and to grow them into better swimmers!

Coach Dave (Junior Swim Coach)

I started swimming on Tropical Storm when I was 6 years old, and I’ve been on the Hurricanes ever since. I've also been swimming year-round for 6 years, and I currently swim for Poseidon. I'm 15 years old, and a rising sophomore at Maggie Walker Governor's School. I like every stroke except backstroke, but my favorite event is probably the 100 fr. Coach Caitlin (Junior Swim Coach)

Hi, my name is Caitlin O'Brien, and I am so excited to be one of the Woodlake Hurricanes coaches this year. This will be my third year helping with Tropical Storm and our youngest team members. This will be my fifth year on the team, and have been swimming year-round on Quest for the last two years. This fall, I will be a sophomore at Richmond Christian School, where I swim on the school team. Swimming with the Hurricanes has helped grow my love for this sport so much, and I hope I can help pass this on to the next generation of swimmers.
