The purpose of the Financial Transparency Committee (FTC) is to assist the WCA Board of Directors to improve confidence in the WCA (inclusive of WSRC) financial documentation, to develop methods to communicate the information to the community, and to provide an independent view of the financial information when the BOD has questions about the information prepared by the WCA staff. The committee is composed of Woodlake property homeowners/volunteers appointed by the BOD. The FTC generally meets quarterly.

The Financial Transparency Committee seeks to fill two open positions. This standing Committee provides an additional level of financial oversight for the community, its board of directors and staff. Meetings will be primarily held on a quarterly basis with the next meeting scheduled for June 18th followed by September 17th and concluding the year with a meeting on December 10th. In addition to reviewing the monthly and quarterly financial information, this Committee is tasked with reviewing updated forecasts, annual budget preparation and the financial impact of the Community's long-range plan.

Ideal candidates will have a degree in accounting or business with strong preference given to those who possess a CPA.
