Scheduling: Tax returns are prepared in-person on a first-come, first-served basis at the site during hours of operation, starting Wednesday, February 1, 2023. Generally, no return will be started within ~1.5 hours before closing. If the schedule is filled for the day, you can still pick up a taxpayer packet to complete and bring another day. Additional Information: Please bring your last tax return, all tax documents, and copies of photo identification cards, plus copies of social security cards for everyone on your return. You will complete intake forms and have an interview with a counselor who will prepare your return. Another counselor will do a quality review of your completed tax return. Then you (and your spouse, if filing jointly) will review, sign, and be given a copy of your completed return and supporting documents. Your return will usually be e-filed with the IRS and the state before you leave, unless circumstances dictate that a paper tax return be mailed.
