Enter at the path at the AFC Oktoberfest Rain Date: Sunday, October 8, 2023 NOTE: There will only be one entrance for Oktoberfest from the top of the path beside the AFC. Firesides will be serving up true Oktoberfest Food! Beverages By: Coalesce Coffee Co. and the Tipsy Grape will be coming with their Oktoberfest select beers and wine! Music by: Anderson Highway Anderson highway is a country rock band formed in Powhatan, VA that plays all of your favorite modern country hits with some classics thrown in! Oktoberfest is Sponsored by: The day starts at 11:30am with a .75 miler and a 5K. Then at noon, we will have a fire or 2 if it is cold so come on down for the day and hang with friends and other residents, enjoy some really good Oktoberfest food by Firesides. Join in the games for prizes, drink some authentic Oktoberfest beer or wine and listen to a really great band! Bring your chairs or blankets and we will see you there! If alcohol is not your thing, then the Coalesce Coffee Co. will be there with specialty coffee drinks, hot chocolate and warm ciders! • Pocket lady will be walking around the Pavilion. Find her and pick her pocket for a prize! • Pass the silent pumpkin in front of the fireplace at the Picnic Shelter. 1 winner per round wins an Octoberfest gift! • Oktoberfest Bingo under the picnic shelter. Prizes awarded. FUN RUNS Woodlake is having 2 fun runs starting at 11:30 am on October 7. Both fun runs are for ages 6 and up! One fun run will be .75 miles. The other will be a 5K. If you are interested in running in either race please register below. Map for .75 mile run HERE Map for 5K run HERE Registration Deadline for Fun Runs – October 5 at 5pm Everyone will line up and start at 11:30 am SHARP! 5K runners will line up first with the .75 milers right behind them. Please check-in at the Picnic Shelter at 11:00 am and a WCA representative will show you where to go.
