The weather was perfect for the first half of our Labor Day festivities on Saturday, September 1! We had a wonderful turnout for the Fishing Contest. Our little competitors were reeling ’em in almost immediately, and we heard a lot of laughs along the way. Then, the Kids and Kritters on Parade followed with a fun walk around Tom Sawyer’s Island. Everyone showed up dressed in their most patriotic colors, and there were a few four-legged friends as well! When the weather became threatening, we decided to move the Labor Day Party to Monday, September 3. There, we enjoyed the awesome sounds of The Johns, good food from Cheezilla and Opa Food Truck, and drinks from Goodrich Gourmet. Plus, we had one of our best firework shows to date! Check out the video below, as well as some photos from the events. We would like to thank everyone who made this so memorable, as well as our staff for pulling it all together.
