Home For The Holidays
...whatever the holidays mean to you and your family. Share with us some of your family holiday traditions whether they be the vibrant colors and candles of Kwanzaa, a menorah, a nativity scene or a tasteful balance of all the classic elements of Christmas (colored lights, wreath, candles, whimsical toys, greenery...).

The Natural Look
...anything from the classic wreaths, candles and greenery of New England, to the fresh fruits and natural greenery of traditional Williamsburg, to the ribbons and mauve/purple colors of Dickens/Victorian, to the unique and creative look of Martha Stewart, or the timely and rich look of a European Father Christmas. A mixed use of white lights, greenery, fruit, candles or other natural looking materials is ideal for this category.

Children’s Delight
...focus on children’s theme (i.e. - Disney, dolls, Nutcracker, T’was The Night Before Christmas, Santa and his reindeer, teddy bears, Dr. Seuss, Pooh Bear, toys,...) A clear children’s theme, lights and whimsical children’s characters/toys are a sure formula for capturing the hearts and imagination of kids of all ages.

Creative Use of Lights
...creative treatment of lights of all different colors, shapes and sizes. The use of mostly lights in a creative and tasteful manner are the elements that make this category a favorite and ‘must-see’ on any holiday tour.

Best Wreath/Door
...this category is ideal for the avid holiday home decorator or the resident who just isn’t able to ‘deck-out’ their whole home this year but has a stunning wreath they’d like to light-up and share with the neighborhood.
