The Lake ...join the Woodlake Swim & Racquet Club's Walking Club each morning and enjoy the seasonal sights and sounds of the lake with a morning power-walk on the bike trails located along the lake.  Explore the stunning shoreline with your friends, family, or your out-of-town guests on a pontoon boat ride.   Whether you fancy a lakeside picnic or a special spot to take in some fishing, Woodlake lakeside stop awhile docks are a favorite of residents.  Lakeside concerts at the EAST WEST LEGACY PARK pavilion offer residents a chance to enjoy lake views and an array of music with their friends and neighbors.

Excellent Public & Private Schools ...for working couples, the Woodlake Child Development Center daycare/preschool (family owned and operated) is conveniently located in the heart of the neighborhood.  Clover Hill High School (a dedicated math & science school), Swift Creek Middle, Woolridge Elementary, and Clover Hill Elementary schools continue their long tradition of serving as some of the Richmond's area's best public schools.  The recently built K-13 private Millwood School and The Goddard School are also well known in the area and are located within Woodlake.

Pools Galore ...another amenity unique to Woodlake, is the heated indoor pool at the Woodlake Swim & Racquet Club's Aquatic & Fitness Center (AFC) which offers year-round swimming.  From May to September, the AFC's indoor pool, slide pool and mushroom pool offer fun for swimmers of all levels.  At the centrally located Swim & Racquet Club (SRC), the main pool, diving pool and lap pool keep residents cool and serve as the practice and meet site for the Woodlake Hurricanes Swim Team.

Active Tennis Club ...from the novice to the most seasoned player, the Woodlake Swim & Racquet Club has something for everyone.  A range of leagues, tournaments, social play, instructional programs, and playing surfaces are what make this club one of the most active tennis clubs in the Richmond area.

State-of-the-Art Fitness Center ...at the Woodlake Swim & Racquet Club's Aquatic & Fitness Center (AFC), tae boxing, step aerobics, water aerobics, free weights, Muscle Dynamics weight equipment, treadmills, Stairmasters, ClimbMax, Lifecycles, Nordic Track, and so much more offer residents the latest equipment and training to keep fit year round.

Tot Lots and more ...more than 16 tot lots have been placed in key areas off bike trails in and around the 50+ neighborhoods of Woodlake.  For a special outing, pack a lunch and head on down toward the lake to Woodlake's own Tom Sawyer's Island (pictured) where there is something for everyone...swings, slides, climbing fort, see-saws, slide poles, swinging bridges, rope climbing, picnic tables, small barbecues and more.

Bike Trails ...more than 9 miles of bike trails weave in and out of the many neighborhoods, safely connecting tot lots, pools, and the lake.

Boating ...canoes, kayaks, pedal boats, and jon boats with trolling motors are available for rent to Woodlake residents at the Woodlake Boat House. Captained pontoon boats are available by advance reservation only by calling 739-4344.
